AgMarket.Net®, the Farm Division of John Stewart & Associates, is announcing its planted acreage estimates ahead of USDA’s June Acreage Report.
AGMARKET.NET ESTIMATES (MILLION ACRES)
| AGMARKET.NET 2023 | USDA March 2023 | USDA 2022 | |
| CORN | 91.85 | 92.00 | 88.58 |
| SOYBEANS | 87.65 | 87.50 | 87.45 |
| ALL WHEAT | 50.07 | 49.90 | 45.74 |
The partners of AgMarket.Net® say they expect a slight increase in soybean acres from USDA’s March projections.
“We feel as if a few acres could have been switched from corn to soybeans, especially in the Northern Plains, due to the lateness of planting in the region,” says AgMarket.Net co-founder Matt Bennett. “Despite this, we feel prevent plant will be low and double-crop soybean acres could be strong.”
Bennett says he expects overall acreage between corn, soybeans and wheat will be robust, just like USDA projected during March.
The agricultural brokerage and consulting firm established the numbers by speaking to its consulting and hedging customers through the country on their planting mix and prevent plant acres. AgMarket.Net® used its contacts in the chemical and input space on availability of product, seeding trends and planting progress as well.
AgMarket.Net® is the Farm Division of John Stewart and Associates; a forward-thinking agricultural marketing and consulting firm. JSA is a full-service commodity brokerage firm based out of St. Joseph, MO.
