Markets Mixed Across the Board as Traders Weigh Weather, Exports, and Economic Signals

Russia’s state weather agency continues to evaluate potential frost damage in key winter wheat growing areas. Meanwhile, France has slightly reduced its soft wheat planted area estimate from 4.63 million to 4.60 million hectares—still nearly 10% higher than last year.  Grain and livestock markets are seeing a blend of green and red today as traders sort through a stack of headlines—from mixed weather outlooks and export demand to macroeconomic signals at home and abroad. Grains are taking cues from planting progress and global supply shifts, while cattle and hog futures remain sensitive to cash movement and consumer demand.
