POET exports to 25 countries, with most shipments routed to Asia and Latin America. The company even outpaces major names like Costco in export volume. Leaders say international markets help boost product value, which benefits local producers at home in South Dakota. POET, which is headquartered in Sioux Falls, could see even bigger export numbers by year’s end.
