In September 2025, Richard Fordyce was confirmed by the Senate as the USDA’s Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC). In this role, he oversees major USDA mission-area agencies including FSA, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and the Risk Management Agency (RMA).
