Washington, D.C.– BASF has partnered with the National Wheat Foundation (NWF) for the past 9 years to offer scholarships to students with ties to the wheat industry pursuing careers in agriculture. Applications are being accepted until December 31, 2025.

College students who are currently freshmen, sophomores, or juniors pursuing an agricultural-related degree are eligible. Preference will be given to, but not limited to, students whose major will directly impact the wheat industry. Two $2500 college scholarships will be awarded directly to the recipient’s college or unversity in late January 2026.

“This scholarship supports students who demonstrate a strong passion for agriculture both in the and outside the classroom,” said Gary Broyles, Montana farmer and NWF Chairman. “By investing in these students, we are helping prepare the next generation to champion the importance of wheat and agriculture and the vital role they play in our society. We thank BASF for its continued partnership and support of this critical program.”
