OMAHA, NE – Valley® Irrigation, a global leader in advancing agricultural productivity through precision irrigation technologies, today announced the recipients of its inaugural Valley Irrigation Grant Program, a $100,000 initiative designed to support grower-driven solutions for real-world water and irrigation challenges.
Following an overwhelming response from growers across North America, with more than 200 grant applications submitted, Valley awarded grants to two operations whose projects demonstrated innovation, impact, and a commitment to long-term water stewardship:
- Arndt Land & Cattle LLC of Janesville, Wisconsin, was awarded the $75,000 Grand Prize grant • Pat and Blake Rogers Farms of Blenheim, South Carolina, received a $25,000 grant
Each grant will be redeemed through the recipients’ local Valley dealer and applied toward Valley irrigation equipment, technology, and services to bring their proposed projects to life.
“The response to this program reinforced what we’ve always believed. Farmers are problem solvers, innovators, and leaders in the future of agriculture,” said Darren Siekman, Vice President of Marketing and Policy at Valley Irrigation. “This grant program is about more than funding. It’s about partnering with growers, investing in their ideas, and helping them implement solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and productivity on their farms.”
The Valley Irrigation Grant Program was created to directly support growers as they navigate
increasing pressure around water availability, input costs, and operational efficiency. By investing in on farm innovation, Valley aims to help accelerate the adoption of smarter irrigation practices that benefit both individual operations and the broader agricultural industry.
As part of the Grand Prize award, Arndt Land & Cattle LLC will also participate in a strategic planning session at Valley headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, working alongside their local dealer, North Central Irrigation, Valley experts, and company leadership to further refine and implement their project.
“This program reflects Valley’s long-standing commitment to growers,” Siekman added. “When growers succeed, agriculture succeeds. Our role is to listen, collaborate, and deliver solutions that help them farm more effectively today and for generations to come.”
Due to the strong interest and positive feedback from growers and dealers alike, Valley plans to continue the Valley Grant Program in 2026. Additional details and application information will be available later this year at www.valleyirrigation.com/grant
