Ag Needs to Watch Energy Markets

Energy markets are drawing added attention as outside market pressure continues to limit grains’ ability to fully gain momentum. While soybeans are showing relative strength, corn and wheat continue to struggle to find sustained upside, weighed down by ample supplies and cautious trade sentiment. On the livestock side, there are signs that a few cracks may be starting to form in the cattle market as traders reassess recent highs and begin to test the downside.
