We saw a lower day of trading in the grain markets on Friday, led to the downside by Kansas City and Chicago wheat. In lieu of any fresh headlines it seemed that traders may have taken some headline risk premium out of the markets ahead of the weekend. Meantime, we saw a higher day in cattle futures ahead of the Cattle on Feed report and more mixed action in dairy.
