Fargo, ND (March 25, 2026) – AgTech software startup, aerialPLOT, recently relocated its headquarters to Fargo to accelerate growth and provide an intellectual hub for the company’s scalable analytics platform.

aerialPLOT’s addition into the market further strengthens the region’s growing ecosystem of agricultural technology and innovation.

“We are extremely excited to announce our move to Fargo. We believe that the ecosystem will provide a perfect foundation for our continued expansion of integrated data solutions for agricultural field research. The team at GFMEDC has provided tremendous guidance, and the tools that the State of North Dakota offers make this transition not only a smart business decision but a clear catalyst for our next phase of growth. We look forward to seeing where we can take the company in our new home,” said Jeremiah Roeth, Founder & CEO, aerialPLOT.

aerialPLOT’s new location will conduct corporate functions, data science, software development and UAV-based data capture (for projects based in ND and neighboring states). The new office will involve the creation of several new jobs focusing on building intellectual capacity in data scientists, digital agronomists, and software development. The company has already hired its first employee in the role of business manager who will help establish the new office.

The company’s decision to establish its headquarters in Fargo reflects the region’s strong ecosystem supporting agricultural innovation, including proximity to leading growers, research institutions, and key industry partners. The Fargo Metropolitan Region has become a hub for AgTech companies working to advance the future of food production.

“We worked closely with aerialPLOT’s leadership over several months, providing the information, connections, and resources they needed to make informed decisions about where to grow their company at this critical inflection point,” said Ryan Aasheim, Chief Business Development Officer at GFMEDC. “This is an extremely successful company in their field, with no shortage of options for establishing a corporate presence. We are honored that aerialPLOT chose to take a chance on the Metro, and we have no doubt their presence will further accelerate our AgTech ecosystem.”

With the relocation, aerial Plot plans to expand its presence in the region, working closely with partners across the agriculture and technology sectors. The move will position the company to continue scaling its platform while collaborating with growers and industry leaders throughout the Upper Midwest. One such industry partner is Grand Farm who will be collaborating with aerialPLOT as it ramps up its 2026 field trials at its Innovation Campus near Casselton.

“We are excited to welcome aerialPLOT to Fargo and to see them choose this region for their next stage of growth,” said Dr. William Aderholdt, Executive Director of Grand Farm. “This decision reflects the strength of the broader agricultural innovation ecosystem in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and it also speaks to the important work of the Greater Fargo Moorhead EDC in helping companies understand the value of building here. aerialPLOT’s capabilities in software, data science, and UAV-based data capture are a strong fit for this market, and we look forward to collaborating with them as they grow their presence and engage with field trials at Grand Farm’s Innovation Campus.”
