MANKATO –  The Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA) is going “fore” another round on the green this summer to drive home its grassroots advocacy mission.

Promoting and defending farm-friendly policies in St. Paul and Washington, D.C., require a team effort. And while not everyone can physically represent soybean farmers at the capitols, growers and industry partners can show their support for MSGA’s grassroots advocacy pursuits by joining friends and industry partners for a day of golf during the third annual Beck’s Soybean Classic June 24, hosted by MSGA.

MSGA continues to partner with Beck’s Hybrids, a longtime sponsor of MSGA activities, including MN Ag Expo and Soybean Business magazine, to return to the Marshall Golf Club for this year’s Classic.

“MSGA greatly appreciates the partnership with Beck’s over the years,” MSGA President Darin Johnson said. “They continue to show they’re committed to MSGA and Minnesota agriculture, and we’re proud to work alongside them to ensure we’re able to keep our farm families thriving for future generations.”

The Beck’s Soybean Classic directly supports MSGA, an organization that fights for farm-friendly policies to improve profitability, giving farmers a strong, active voice at the state and national legislative levels. With support from Beck’s, MSGA is helping to protect crop inputs for Minnesota’s 26,000 soybean farmers who help sustain communities and economies across Minnesota.

MSGA’s work goes beyond the fairway; it’s multifold. Thanks to the support of members and industry partners like Beck’s, MSGA engages with lawmakers and regulators in St. Paul and Washington, D.C., to prevent unnecessary restrictions and fees on the use of agriculture chemicals.
