PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Beef Industry Council (SDBIC) and Keloland Media Group are proud to announce Neighbors Grub + Pub of Summerset, South Dakota, as the winner of the 2025 KELOLAND Beef Burger Showdown, with their signature creation — The Claw Burger.
After weeks of voting and a strong showing from burger lovers across the state, The Claw Burger clawed its way to the top with a bold combination of flavors and delicious beef!
“This competition is a great way to highlight the creativity of South Dakota restaurants and the versatility of beef,” said Jodie Anderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Beef Industry Council. “The Claw Burger represents the passion and pride our local chefs and producers have in bringing high-quality beef to the table.”
Neighbors Grub + Pub’s win reflects not only culinary excellence, but also their commitment to supporting South Dakota’s beef producers. The Claw Burger stood out for its flavor, presentation, and innovative twist on the classic American burger.
The KELOLAND Beef Burger Showdown, sponsored by the South Dakota Beef Industry Council and KELOLAND Media Group, celebrates the best of beef by encouraging restaurants across the state to showcase their most mouthwatering, beef-forward burgers — and inviting the public to vote for their favorites.
