RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, August 21, 2025 – The Xitavo® soybean seed portfolio is further expanding with the addition of 15 new products for the 2026 growing season. With these additions, the Xitavo soybean seed portfolio includes a total of 50 products covering relative maturities of 0.0 to 4.8.
Xitavo soybean seed products are meticulously bred for the soybean grower who values trailblazing innovations, quality without compromise and unmatched dedication. The Xitavo soybean seed class of 2026 offers a 1.8 bu/A advantage over the already high-yielding class of 2025, according to Xitavo soybean seed trials from 2023-2024.
Xitavo soybean seed-exclusive products entered the market in 2025, exposing farmers to a proven new source of germplasm. This came after more than a decade of extensive work across the five regional Xitavo soybean seed breeding hubs in the United States. Xitavo soybean seed is now bringing new and unique germplasm to the market, and with it, a new source of soybean varieties to meet farmers’ ever-changing needs. This new source of soybean seed germplasm delivers much-needed genetic diversity to help further enhance yields, demonstrated by a 3.0 bu/A yield advantage over leading competitors.[1]
A few of the high-yielding new products for growers to pursue include:
- XO 1116E: Taller plant type that packs a yield punch with impressive branching and good standability. Performs at 104.4% of the test mean and has good tolerance to Iron Deficiency Chlorosis (IDC).
- XO 2206E: Solid yield potential combined with good tolerance to Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and yield performance at 105.6% of the test mean
- XO 3456E: Consistent performer in a larger plant type with a good disease package, including tolerance to phytophthora root rot, sudden death syndrome (SDS) and northern stem canker.
- XO 4056E: Strong yields at 103.0% of the test mean, coupled with all-around great agronomic qualities, tolerance to several major diseases and good standability.
- XO 4566E: Taller plant type offering consistency and dependability, performing at 103.0% of the test mean.
