Alice in Dairyland is Wisconsin’s official agriculture ambassador program. Each year, a young professional woman is selected to serve a one-year, full-time public relations role promoting Wisconsin’s $100-billion agriculture industry.

The program, which began in 1948, is run by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Alice makes hundreds of appearances across the state and beyond—doing TV and radio interviews, speaking at schools, attending community events, and highlighting everything from dairy products to cranberries, ginseng, livestock, and farm technology.
