CHICAGO and PINE BLUFF, Arkansas — ADM (NYSE: ADM), a global leader in innovative solutions from nature, and Planters Cotton Oil Mill, Inc., a premier, gin-owned cooperative cottonseed processor, announced today that they have reached an agreement to launch a new cottonseed joint venture to better serve both suppliers and customers.
Planters will contribute its crush plant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, as well as additional origination and storage facilities located in the region, to the joint venture.
