Friday’s markets took a turn to the downside after President Trump posted on Truth Social that there is now no reason to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and that he is weighing “massive increases” in tariffs on Chinese imports. This in response to the Chinese government’s announcement of new trade limits on crucial rare earth elements and related technologies. Soybeans were hit the hardest on Friday’s trade while cattle ended up rallying into the green. Ted Seifried with Zaner Ag Hedge joins us to discuss and wrap up the week in the market trade.
